Dear Parents, Teachers & Students
Greetings of 73RD Republic Day & 19TH Foundation Day of our Alma mater (MBS PUBLIC SCHOOL, BHUBANESWAR)
Freedom in mind, Power in words, Truth in utterance & nostalgic memories of sacrifices made by our freedom fighters, let’s salute the tricolour and promise to safe guard the unity and integrity of this great nation. Let’s remember “We are Indian First, Last & Forever”. This quote reminds us of the Iconic personality of Mother India, Sri B.R. Ambedkar our Chairman of the drafting Committee & father of Indian Constitution. We adopted our Constitution on 26 January 1950. Hence this day became a Red letter Day for all of us. On this day His Excellency the President of India hoists the National Flag and takes the salute of the marching contingent at Delhi & all our powers are displayed to the world. Similarly in every state the Governor also unfurls the National Flag & takes the salute in the State Capital.
Let’s take a pledge to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and corruption from our country. Let’s take the pledge to safeguard our unity & integrity of this great nation. In this regard our future generation has a great role to play for the growth and development this nation. Let’s all promise to become discipline, dedicated in discharging our duties with honesty and sincerity.
The greatest challenge before us at this juncture is Corona - COVID-19 which has shattered our education & economic progress. I am sure if we follow the SOP issued by the Govt. in letter and spirit, then the day is not far when we can see a new sunshine heralding the victory of mankind.
A word of advice & suggestion to all my dearest children. Please go through the new changes that has come up in Educational field and plan your course of action. Believe in yourself & in your ability. Make your planning & act according to your plan. I am sure success will touch your feet. Remember the words of Swami Vivekananda “Arise, Awake & March On till the goal is reached”.
Finally, I would call it a day with the quote –
“दे सलामी इस तिरंगे को
जिस से तेरी शान हैं,
सर हमेशा ऊँचा रखना इसका,
जब तक दिल में जान हैं।
“जय हिंद जय भारत..”
ANUTTARA SAMYAK-SAMBHODI
Dear students, teachers and parents,
1- It is a great pleasure to welcome you all after the Dussehra and Autumn Break. Dussehra symbolizes victory of truth over evil. Now let’s face the challenges of Covid-19 boldly and bravely following the SOP issued by Government. Life must go on in spite of hurdles on the way as change is the only truth & law of nature.
2- As I begin to pen down my feelings & thought in black & white, a lot comes to my mind which I feel privileged to share with you all. At the outset I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Secretary Dr. S. K. Mohapatra his associate Mr. Parida and Management Committee for their faith and trust on me and inviting me to carry out the herculean task & responsibilities as Principal of this august institute that I have accepted with a pleasure. I have come here with a dream and seek sincere, honest cooperation from all the stakeholders to fulfill it into a reality.
3- Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectation. We at MBS try to fulfill the goals of NEP-2020 with the philosophy – “Tell me & I forget, Teach me and I may remember, Involve me and I learn”. We provide our future generation the opportunity of learning by doing. We believe in experimental learning, where the child learns through his experience and active & effective participation. Our pivotal emphasis is on all-round personality development.
Thus, we try to develop the child’s physical, metal, moral and intellectual development with a holistic approach. Our first target is to create in our students a cutting edge which will bring success in emerging competitive world. All round development will not only help the students in generating knowledge, acquiring skills, developing attitude but also helping them in becoming best of the human beings respecting the values and cultural ethos of the nation.
Let’s take a pledge to do small things with great love and smile. Let’s join our hands together to make our kids and young men of tomorrow empowered, energized , truthful , strong so as to face the challenges of life & wade through the turbulent world successfully in establishing their foot prints every nook and corner of the world.
MBS Public School family would like to convey the finally best wishes & blessings to all our Class X & XII students for their upcoming CBSE Board Examination-2021. Remember the famous Quote of Robert Frost with a change –
The woods are lovely
Dark and Deep
We have promises to keep
and miles to go before we sleep.
